A Homecoming for Rod: Celtic Foundation Gala Evening in London

Celtic superfan Rod Stewart was on the guest list for the Celtic FC Foundation's annual fundraising gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in London on Thursday evening.

More than 150 invited guests, including many former players such as Joe Hart, Paul Elliott, and Scott Brown, enjoyed a successful evening at a gala dinner hosted by sports journalist Shebahn Aherne. Musical entertainment was provided by Heather Small, the voice of the 90s dance group M People, Foundation regulars The Troubadours, and the Irish band Dublin Legends.

Former Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart participated in an extensive Q&A session, sharing numerous stories and memories from his playing days, including his highly successful three-year stint at Celtic.

Throughout the evening, approximately £760,000 in donations was raised.

Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive Tony Hamilton said: “We are so grateful to so many people and companies who support us throughout the year and at events like last night in London.”
