Following Vegas cancellation: Rod apologises to his fans

As Storyteller first reported on Friday, Sir Rod was forced to cancel his two concerts at Caesars Palace for health reasons and on the advice of doctors. As recently as Wednesday, the singer had thrilled fans in Las Vegas, though he had already admitted that his voice wasn’t “100 per cent” and joked in his typical humour: “What on earth am I thinking? That I’m still 25?”.
Following the cancellation, the Brit addressed his audience: “I apologise to my huge family of fans. I am currently resting my voice whilst recovering from sinusitis. I look forward to seeing you again at a future show at Caesars Palace or on my tour this summer," Rod is quoted as saying on a US news portal.
The next show at Caesars’ Colosseum takes place next Tuesday at 7.30 pm. Ticket holders are to receive a refund for the cancelled concerts. This was announced by Ticketmaster.
