The cat's out of the bag, the time for wild speculation and hoping about the release date is over. In a telephone interview with the radio station "TalkSport," Sir Rod Stewart has now confirmed: The new album will be released in March 2027, almost exactly when the tour starts next year.

And Rod also revealed the title of his new record: "A Little Of What You Fancy Does You Good." "A typical Rod Stewart and Faces album title," the singer explained. "The album will be 70 percent original tracks. I've been living with it for a year now and I think it's turned out fantastic," said Rod, who, in the same breath as he spoke about the new album, also mentioned that the tour next year will take him to Argentina and Brazil. "I'll be going to Argentina and maybe I'll end up in Brazil. I don't know."

Sir Rod reiterated that 2027 will be his last year on a major tour. "To be honest, that's definitely it. I'll continue, I'll do big band shows, possibly even work with Jools Holland again. Above all, I want to spend a bit more time at home with my family and my wife."
