A few weeks ago, German saxophonist Katja Rieckermann released her album "Common Language" together with Austrian musician and producer Rod Stewart. The album, which features 13 tracks and has been available on all streaming platforms since August 17th, has now reached the ears of Katja's former "Boss," Rod Stewart.

And the British musician, with whom the saxophonist toured for 14 years, praises the work in the highest terms.

MASTERFULLY ALBUM

"An exceptional, thoughtful, and masterfully produced album," Sir Rod wrote to the duo. "For 14 years, Katja Rieckermann has captivated audiences worldwide with her dynamic, imaginative, experimental, and expressive saxophone playing. The new album is brimming with soul, creativity, and outstanding musicianship. Kat & Burn have created something truly special."

With this statement, the singer not only congratulates on the release of the album, but also supports the duo's "For Your Grammy Consideration", which they submitted "Common Language" as Best Alternative Jazz Album for a Grammy nomination.
