Editor’s game recommendation: SongPop Classic

Have you heard of SongPop Classic yet? It’s the ultimate music quiz game for your mobile, though it can also be played on a PC. You can compete in one-on-one duels or against multiple opponents (in Party Mode) and guess songs from every conceivable category. And yes, there are even two Rod Stewart playlists: First, the ‘Greatest Hits’ playlist, featuring all of Sir Rod’s biggest hits, and then the ‘Rod Stewart’ playlist, which includes not only the big hits but also other, less popular songs – essentially an ‘All-Rod, All-Songs’ playlist.
SongPop Classic can be played for free, but you’ll be interrupted by adverts every now and then. In the Plus version, available from €9.99 a month, the adverts disappear and you can play the game without interruption. As well as playing against random opponents, SongPop Classic also lets you connect with your Facebook friends and compete against them. A truly addictive game!
