Once again, there is disappointing news for all those planning to attend Rod Stewart’s concerts this week. As the Red Rocks Amphitheatre announced through its channels, the singer is still suffering from significant voice problems. Sir Rod was reportedly examined again at a clinic in Colorado, where doctors diagnosed considerable inflammation and strain of his vocal cords, making it impossible for him to perform without risking further injury and potential long-term damage to his voice.

The promoter of Monday’s and Tuesday’s shows conveyed Rod’s great disappointment: “He apologises to his fans for the inconvenience. He looks forward to returning to the stage as soon as he is medically cleared to do so,” the statement said.

The concerts scheduled for 15 and 16 June have been postponed, in agreement with the artist and his team, to 2 and 3 September 2027. Tickets will remain valid, and all ticket holders will receive an email with full details regarding the rescheduled dates.

Rod Stewart had already been forced to cancel his appearance in San Diego at short notice last week. At present, it is expected that he will be able to return to the stage in Salt Lake City this coming Friday. However, the final decision in this matter rests with his treating doctors.
