Zoe and Rod chat about Glastonbury, Vegas, songwriting, family and fitness. Zoe enlists the help from a few friends along the way for some very important questions! Sir Rod Stewart's career spans seven decades, the first band he joined was in 1963 and he signed his first solo contract a year later. In the late 60s he collaborated with Jeff Beck and then the Faces with Ronnie Wood. His hits include Maggie May, Sailing, Baby Jane, Da Ya Think I'm Sexy and famously kept the Sex Pistols from the top of the charts with his 1977 hit I Don't Want To Talk About It/The First Cut Is The Deepest. Later he celebrated the American song book across five albums. Rod has been inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame not once but twice, won Grammys, Brits, Ivor Novello awards and he holds the world record for staging the largest free rock concert in history! He's collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Jools Holland and Robbie Williams. 2025 is a monumental year for Sir Rod, he kicked it off with his 80th birthday, his beloved football team won the Scottish Premiership, he picked up another Lifetime achievement award and this month he’ll be performing on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury festival for the legends slot on Sunday afternoon
