Yesterday, Saturday, Sir Rod Stewart performed at this year's Remembrance Festival at the Royal Albert Hall in London. In front of King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Kate, Princess of Wales, and the Prime Minister of England, the singer performed the songs ‘Sentimental Journey’ from his latest album ‘Swing Fever’ and offered a special version of his global hit ‘Sailing’. He was accompanied on both songs by the RAF Squadronaires, the British Air Force's big band.
This year's memorial festival marked the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and has been held annually since the end of the First World War in memory of the fallen soldiers. Sir Rod is currently enjoying a break of several weeks after his extensive US tour and will continue this year's concert tour in Hamburg at the end of January.
