Television becomes Rod's most important tour companion: Celtic faces crucial weeks

In just over two weeks, Sir Rod Stewart's tour will kick off with a performance on February 27 in Hollywood, Florida, USA.
From there, Sir Rod, who is already in Florida, will dance, flirt, sing, and celebrate his way through arenas across the United States. A total of eleven shows are scheduled through the end of March.
At the same time, Rod's beloved Celtic FC faces decisive matches in all three national and international competitions. Stewart, who regularly attends games at Celtic Park, will have to content himself with watching the games on television from across the Atlantic.
The weeks of truth for the reigning Scottish champions begin on February 19 with a home game in the UEFA Europa League play-offs against VfB Stuttgart.
Three days later, the Hoops welcome Edinburgh's “Hibs” to the Scottish Premiership, before the final showdown for a place in the Europa League round of 16 takes place in Stuttgart on February 26.
This will be followed by the always explosive derby in the domestic league at Rangers (March 1) and the away game at Aberdeen FC (March 4), before returning to Rangers again. In the cup quarterfinals on March 7, Celtic will face their archrivals for a place in the last four.
