At an age when most people are enjoying their well-deserved retirement, rock star Sir Rod Stewart seems to be just getting started – both personally and professionally.
At least, that's what Stewart's wife Penny revealed in an interview with British magazine Saga.
‘He's so youthful,’ said the 54-year-old. ‘Like a machine. You just can't stop him. He's the one who says, “Let's go out tomorrow night” or “Shall we go to Paris this weekend? ” I then say, “But we were out last night! ” He does have ideas about how to relax, but he'll never stop.’
And Stewart's drive is also reflected in his professional plans. ‘We're already planning his tours for next year – and the year after,’ revealed Lancaster, who is publishing her autobiography ‘Someone Like Me’ this Thursday.
Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster have been married since 2007 and have two sons together: Alastair and Aiden. Penny told Saga magazine that the Maggie May singer has promised to stay with her ‘for another 20 years’.
