Bitter news for all fans who were looking forward to a wonderful evening with Rod Stewart and his band on Sunday. The concert at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace had to be postponed at short notice due to the singer's illness. The new date was announced as June 10.
When the first fans began gathering around Caesars in the afternoon, they were informed of the concert's cancellation by a simple information board. “Today's performance must be postponed,” it stated succinctly, adding that fans should contact their ticket outlet to get a refund and find out about rescheduled events.
A little later, Rod Stewart also posted on his social media channels, saying, “I'm sorry to inform you that I am not feeling well and my show tonight at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace will be postponed until June 10. Your tickets will remain valid for the new date. Sir Rod.”
The next scheduled concert at Caesars Palace will take place next Thursday, June 5. We wish Sir Rod a speedy recovery.
