The Jazz Festival in New Orleans, a city with a population of 300,000 in the US state of Louisiana, has a long tradition. It has been held every year since 1970, always on the last weekend in April and the first week in May, and lasts three days.
The organisers have succeeded in securing Sir Rod Stewart as the headliner for next year, as was officially announced yesterday.
Sir Rod wrote on his social media channels: ‘I am very pleased to announce that I will be performing at the New Orleans Jazz Fest 2026 on Sunday, 26 April!’
Tickets for the event are already available on the official website nojazzfest.com.
In addition to Sir Rod, Stevie Nicks and the Eagles will also be among the main acts at next year's New Orleans Jazz Fest.
