‘Quiz mit Fritz’: Test your music knowledge in a unique app

Here, your knowledge as a music connoisseur is called for – and Rod Stewart is also a recurring topic. German TV and radio presenter Fritz Egner, who has conducted over 400 interviews with the big stars of the music scene during his long career, has launched a new smartphone and tablet game.
Now the music expert has launched a truly unique game and given it the simple name ‘Quiz mit Fritz’.
This is ‘Quiz mit Fritz’
Fritz Egner hosts the quiz (as a virtual avatar) in his usual friendly manner and unique voice in German and even English. The game includes the following features:
• 2,200 questions about hits from music history from five individually selectable decades from 1974 to 2024: from James Brown and Frank Zappa to Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles.
• 300 original interview excerpts with over five hours of playing time: featuring James Brown, Madonna, Mick Jagger, Phil Collins, Whitney Houston, Frank Farian, Rod Stewart and many others.
• 300 photos, dedications & tickets: from Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie, The Police, OneRepublic, Ed Sheeran, ABBA, The Commodores, Nile Rodgers, Bruce Springsteen and others. Eleven anecdotes from Fritz Egner from his time at Bayerischer Rundfunk, ARD, SAT.1 and ZDF.
• Soundscape like in a TV studio, composed by Patrick Nevian (Phénix Noir Productions)
‘Quiz mit Fritz’ is available for download from the Google Play Store and Apple Store. You can easily set your preferred language in the settings – there is a German and an English version. In game mode, you can answer questions from the former TV presenter for one minute, three minutes, five minutes or endlessly. An entertaining quiz game for music fans!
